Secondary Sprue dialog box

Provides the means to add a new secondary sprue to the mold design and to edit, delete, and adjust the dimensions of the secondary sprue.

On the Mold Layout tab, click Secondary Sprue .

Note: If Secondary Sprue is not visible in the Mold Layout tab, click the arrow under Runner, and then click Secondary Sprue.

Placement

Select a runner sketch point as the base point for the secondary sprue. Select the end point and midpoint of the runner sketch.

The preview of the extension changes to the positive Z axis.

The preview of the extension changes to the negative Z axis.

Enter a value for the taper angle.

Enter values for dimensions shown on the image.
