Mirror
Enables to mirror the geometry and position of the source components while preserving the associativity between the source and target components. This feature also creates the Mirror browser node.
Creates only mirrored geometry and has no associativity between the target and source documents.
Selects components to mirror. Select a component in the graphics window or browser. All child components are automatically included.
Select a work plane or planar face as the mirror plane.
Specifies the Origin YZ Plane as the mirror plane.
Specifies the Origin XZ Plane as the mirror plane.
Specifies the Origin XY Plane as the mirror plane.
Use the Status buttons at the top of the dialog box to change the status of all selected components. Click a status icon for an individual component to change the component status.
Mirror Creates a mirrored component and saves it in a new file.
Reuse Adds a component instance in the current or a new assembly file.
Components marked bold are not suitable for reusing. A component must be symmetric according to its current symmetric plane to be suitable for reuse. Asymmetric reused components can be positioned incorrectly in the resulting model.
You can apply the enhanced object orientation for reused components. Right-click the component and select the Symmetric Plane. The orientation of the component is changed with respect to the plane.
Exclude Excludes the component from the mirror operation.
Mixed Indicates that child components are either reused or excluded.
Click to copy a list of components not suitable for reusing to the clipboard.
Includes component relationships in the mirror operation.
Grounds the mirrored component.
Links the source component sheet metal style to the mirrored component.
Next Opens the Mirror Components: File Names dialog box.
Sets the initial status to Reuse for all library components. You can change the status to Exclude if appropriate.Note: Clear the check box to enable the Mirror status for library components.
Toggles the preview display for each status type. Mirrored components are shown in transparent green, and reused components are shown in transparent yellow. Excluded components are not previewed.
