You can add and edit welding symbols in a weldment assembly. Welding symbols can be created for a single weld bead feature or associated to multiple features. They can be added while creating the weld bead feature or using the Welding Symbol command. Weld bead features must be present in the model to use the Weld Symbol command. Welding symbols are attached to the edges of weld bead features.
You can edit the position, change the values, and add vertices to the leader of welding symbols. Use grips to modify the position and the context menu to edit the values or add a vertex.
You can create a welding symbol in the weldment assembly model.

Symbol .You can move a welding symbol by lengthening or shortening the leader segment of a symbol leader line, or by moving the attachment point or vertex. During the move, the valid edges in the associated weld bead feature are highlighted.
On the Quick Access toolbar, click the arrow next to the Select command, and then select Feature Priority from the list.
In the graphics window, move the cursor over the welding symbol or leader to view the grip points.
To move the horizontal reference segment to a new location, click and drag the grip point closest to it.
To change the attachment point, click and drag the base grip to reposition the leader.
Release the mouse button to place the welding symbol at the new location.
You can change any value or component that was assigned when a model symbol was created.
In the browser, expand the Weld group to display the weld features.
Right-click the welding symbol and select Edit Welding Symbol. In the Welding Symbol dialog box, change any value of the assembly welding symbol and leader.
Click the Arrow Side and Other Side tabs as needed to edit values.
Click OK to accept your changes.
The changes are displayed in the graphics window.
You can add vertices to a weld symbol leader line.
You can delete vertices from a weld symbol leader line. The only vertices that are available for delete are vertices that are added by the user.
