In the nailboard, you can view and display harness properties for any wires, cable wires, ribbon cables, pins, segments, and splices displayed on the drawing. You can also view and display properties for the parts to which the pins belong. You select the harness objects and properties for display.
Properties are placed in the graphics window based on the location you select. After the properties are placed, you can adjust the displayed properties to their appropriate position if needed. Displayed text is associative to the related objects.
Use Property Display to display selected properties in the nailboard drawing. Use the filter and selection list to display only the properties you need. Once selected, the properties list for that object is displayed. You can display properties only for harness objects that are visible.
From an open Nailboard drawing, edit the sketch that contains the harness.
On the ribbon, click Nailboard tab Manage panel
Property Display .
Click Object.
Select one or more properties from the list. Use the Control or Shift key to select multiple properties.
If appropriate, click to change the Display Options between Value only or Name and Value.
Click Apply. The properties are previewed in the graphics window.
With the rubber band in the graphics window as a guide, click to place the properties.
Select another object and repeat steps 3-7.
Click Cancel or OK.
To display properties by object type: Select the appropriate selection filter option button: All wires, segments, cables, ribbon cables, parts, splices, or pins.
You can move or rotate property text in a drawing sketch 90 degrees in the clockwise and counterclockwise directions after it is placed.
To move a displayed property, click the property text box, and then drag to move. Release the mouse button to end the move.
Select Harness Properties to view properties for a selected nailboard object before placing them in the drawing.
