You can enter numeric parameter names or values in edit boxes when you edit dimensions, create offset work planes, or edit offset constraints.
Use the edit boxes to define or edit numeric parameter names or values.
For example, suppose you want to dimension a line in your sketch geometry. In the Edit Dimension dialog for the line, enter Length=20mm, and click the green check box to accept the entry. If you open the Parameters dialog to view the defined model parameters, the parameter Length has a value of 20 mm.
Click in the edit field.
