Template Description Dialog Box

Displays a list of shaft templates.

Access

Ribbon: Design tab Power Transmission panel Shaft and on the Design tab, in More Options, click Add.

You can create each shaft from a template. When you open the Shaft Generator, click Set to apply the template to the currently designed shaft.

Any new shaft can be used as a template. Save it to the Templates Library on the hard drive, and the next time you create a shaft, the new template is available.

The name of template must be unique. If you try to save the template and the name exists, you are prompted to set a different name.

Set

Applies selected template to a current content of the shaft

Add

Adds a newly designed shaft to the template library.

Delete

Deletes the selected shaft template.

Tips:

• To change the template description, double click a template.
• Drag a template to reorder it within the library.
