Unidentified surface texture is used to define the surface texture for all part surfaces without a specific surface texture definition. You can identify the surface texture and arrange the annotation appropriately based on GOST standards. The annotation appears on the active drawing sheet in the upper-right corner, and is not attached to a specific part of the drawing with a leader. You can edit the symbol on the active sheet.
To add unidentified surface texture symbols in GOST drawings, follow these steps:
On the ribbon, click Annotate (ESKD) tab Symbols panel

In the Standard section, select the appropriate GOST symbol standard. GOST 2.309-2002 is the default. Depending on the standard you select, the Requirement section changes. If you choose the GOST 2.309-1973 standard, new fields are added and some fields are moved to a different location.
