To Search for Commands

If you know a command's name, you can find its location on the toolbar, menu, or ribbon.

At the top of the Application menu, use the Search box to find the location of commands on the Quick Access toolbar, application menu, and the ribbon. Search terms can be in any language, and can include wild cards (*, ?).

The search results display commands alphabetically, groups them by function, and includes paths to their locations on the ribbon.

To display a tooltip description of the command in the search results, pause the cursor over it.
To see the location of the command flash in the ribbon, and to launch the command, click it or its path in the search results.

Note: If a command in the matching results is not available in your current environment, it displays as disabled in the lower part of the results group.
