Occurrences inherit the general properties that were created at the library-level, as well as unique occurrence properties that are stored within the assembly in which they are placed. When specific properties are needed for the occurrence in an assembly, you can override the library-level property value with an occurrence property value.
You can add or edit occurrence properties for splices, splice pins, virtual parts, folds, ribbon cables, harness segments and wire and cables.
Double-click the harness assembly containing the occurrence to edit.
In the browser or graphics window, right-click a splice, splice pin, virtual part, fold, ribbon cable, harness segment, wire or cable, and then select Harness Properties from the context menu.
If applicable, In the [NAME] Properties dialog box, click the Occurrence tab to set the properties related to the physical aspects.
The following additonal workflows are available for the different types of properties:
Splices
Click the Wires tab to view wires connected to the splice.
Double-click any row to display the properties dialog box for that wire occurrence.

In the dialog box, click the Occurrence tab:

Click Apply to continue adding or modifying properties or OK to finish.
If a property value is overridden on the occurrence, the library-level value appears in the lower-left side of the dialog box. If the value differs from what is displayed in the table, it has been overridden. You can restore this value if desired.
