Inventor Interoperability (formerly Inventor Server) is a component that provides Autodesk products full read and write access to Inventor data, including metadata, geometry, materials, and textures.

For Inventor Interoperability 2026 client products, Inventor Interoperability 2026:

• Is integrated in the client product package
• Is installed along with the client product
• Opens Inventor models directly without on-demand install

For products that support but do not integrate Inventor Interoperability, Inventor Interoperability 2026:

• Is NOT included in the client product package
• Is NOT installed along with the client product
• Is installed on-demand when an Inventor Interoperability 2026 related function is used.
