Check out the new Break View enhancements.
Previously, there was no way to control the location of Break in a drawing view. Now, when opening drawings with Break View or creating a new Break View, the location of Break View is controlled by the sketch.
Select an existing sketch with valid geometry, such as two parallel lines that are either vertical or horizontal, with an active Break View. Then, start placing the view.
When finished, the Break View browser node with the corresponding sketch is located under the parent view browser node, and the Break View is created. In the sketch, you can add dimensions to control the location of the break line. As a result, the location of the Break View will be maintained when the model is changed.
To edit the break view, double-click or or use the context menu on the browser entry, and select Edit Break.
In the sketch, you can add dimensions to control the location of the break line. As a result, the location of the Break View will be maintained when the model is changed.
Existing Break Views are migrated and will contain a browser entry and a Break View sketch with corresponding geometry (not dimensioned).
