Learn about improvements made to Sheet Metal workflows in this release of Inventor.
In this release of Inventor, the property panel interface is applied to various Sheet Metal commands. The change to a property panel interface improves create and edit workflows, provides access to the sketch by means of the breadcrumb, and enables using presets.

Improvements in workflow include:
Robust first feature options
Top down workflow, but can be edited as needed to get the final result
Controls in one panel with collapsible option groups
Option groups display only when needed or appropriate
Creates a new sketch when none exists or are not visible and returns to the command when the sketch is finished
Auto-selects a profile when only one valid profile exists
Access and edit the sketch from a breadcrumb within the property panel
Rename features or sketches from the property panel breadcrumb
Advanced setting for keeping the sketch visible
