To Import an Industry Data Model

A data model stores the structure of the industry model template . It defines the feature classes, rules, and so on that govern the behavior of the drawing.

To import an industry data model into a drawing or template file

1. Log in as Map System User.
2. Start Autodesk Infrastructure Administrator.
3. Click File > Open.
4. Navigate to the template or drawing into which you will import the data model. Select it and click Open.

   When you open a template or drawing file that does not contain an industry data model, you are prompted to create one or specify an existing one to use. This procedure assumes you are importing a SQLite model you previously exported. To create a new data model instead, see About Industry Model Templates.

5. Click Use An Existing Data Model.
6. Navigate to the SQLite file to use as the data model.

7. Once the data model has been imported, you can modify the industry model template or drawing. See To View or Edit an Industry Model Template.
8. When you are finished, click Save.
