Ram position result

The Ram position result displays an X-Y plot of the position of the ram versus time up to switch-over point.

Note: This result is only available for the following:

3D meshed parts
Where an absolute filling profile has been specified (including absolute Legacy ram speed profiles)

This result is also available for overmolding.

Using this result

The Ram position result can be used for the following:

Verification of the implementation of the specified profile. The change in the slope of the graph indicates a change in ram speed.
Ram position a switch-over point. This will indicate the cushion available for the packing phase.
To transfer profile information to the injection molding machine for equipment that use ram position for specifying a profile.
