Solver message 313455
Message text
** ERROR 313455 ** No first-shot part mesh has been found. Ensure that the elements that comprise the first shot in the two-shot overmolding mold are present in the region where the second shot occurs and the rotation element box is not selected.
Explanation
This error is fatal. The solver could not find the mesh elements representing the first shot of your two-shot overmolding mold, as illustrated by red part on the right side on the illustration.

This error is due to at least one of the following causes:
- The part does not exist in the study,
- The properties of the part are not set correctly.
Resolution
1. If the part does not exist in the study:
- Click
(Home tab > Import panel > Add).
- Locate and import the model describing the first component .
- If necessary, click
(Geometry tab > Utilities panel > Move > Translate) to position the first component correctly, relative to the second component.
- Assign the correct properties to the part.
2. If the properties of the part are not set correctly:
- Select the first component of the single cavity (red part, on the right side of the illustration).
- Right-click the model in the Model pane and select Properties.
- Select Part (3D) and click OK.
- In the Overmolding Component tab, set the Component option to 1st shot.
- Deselect Rotation element, then click OK.
