Solver message 320006
Message Text
** ERROR 320006 ** Reference barrel (injection node) was not found or not defined for master barrel.
Explanation
It is assumed that the master barrel is the first barrel to start injecting. If you delay a sub-barrel, but omit to specify relative to which barrel you are delaying it, it is delayed relative to the master barrel. When you delay the start of injection for the master barrel, it is imperative that you specify relative to which sub-barrel you are delaying the master barrel, otherwise the analysis fails.
Resolution
Enter a reference injection node for the delay timer of the master barrel.
- Identify the sub barrel relative to which you want to delay the master barrel injection.
- In the Layers panel, make visible the mesh nodes layer.
- Zoom in on the node to which the sub-barrel is attached, and select the node so that it changes color.
- Open the Geometry tab and copy the node ID from the Selection panel. The node ID is a number that is preceded by the letter N.
- Click
(Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings) to open the Process Settings Wizard.
- Click Set associated with the Delay timer, to open the timer dialog.
- Paste the node ID against the Reference injection node.
- Click OK twice to close the dialogs, and start the analysis again.
