Create a Count Takeoff

A Count Takeoff is the process of adding a sequence of pins to your 2D sheet, which become Takeoff objects in the Quantification workbook.

Use for: Recording the number of objects in a building, such as desks in an office.

1. On the 2D Takeoff toolbar, click Count .

2. On the 2D sheet, click to position a count pin.

   Notice each pin is numbered sequentially in the Takeoff Pane.

   Note: You can change the color of the pin and other takeoff objects. See To Change Takeoff Color.
