You can create and modify specs in the Spec tab.
A spec includes a spec sheet and a branch table. You can add parts to the spec sheet and use them in
AutoCAD Plant 3D toolset when routing pipe. In the Spec tab, you can perform the following tasks:
- Create, view, and edit a spec.
- Add parts to a spec sheet from a catalog.
- Set part-use priority for part groups based on part size.
- Assign parts to use as branch fittings.
- View, filter, and locate parts in parts catalogs.
- Assign wall thickness to DIN parts.
- Export a spec sheet to Microsoft®Excel®, or import a modified spec sheet from Excel.
