To create a pipe support from an AutoCAD block

1. On the ribbon, click Home tab Pipe Supports panel Create.
2. In the Add Pipe Support dialog box, click Use AutoCAD Block.
3. Do one of the following:
   • 1. Click Choose Block from Model.
     2. In the drawing area, select a block.
   • 1. Click Import Block from DWG.
     2. In the Select Block Definition dialog box, open a drawing and click a block that has zero ports specified using plantpartconvert.
   

   The insertion point of the block matches the piping centerline.

4. Click OK.
5. Snap to connect to pipe.
6. Press ENTER to finish adding pipe supports.
