Use this option to perform detailed analysis of I-section members, rolled or welded. Access the option by clicking the Detailed button in the detailed results dialog for the EC3:2022 code.
The following types of analysis are performed independently and run separately, based on the requirements defined in EUROCODE 3 part 5 (EN 1993-1-5:2024):
- Web stability for shearing (chapter 7)
- Web stability for compression (chapter 8)
- Shearing/bending/compression interaction (chapter 9)
- Compressed flange stability (chapter 10)
- Verification of stiffening ribs (chapter 11).
The dialog is divided into several parts.
- The top part of the dialog contains a schematic representation of the member containing member dimensions; the following icons are located in the bottom right-hand corner of the drawing:
Turns on/off the presentation of ribs, rib numbers, panel numbering and distances between ribs
Turns on/off the presentation of the forces operating in the top flange of the member, their numbering and the distance between the forces
Turns on/off the presentation of the forces operating in the bottom flange of the member, their numbering and the distance between the forces
Turns on/off of the presentation of supports/adjoining members located in the top flange of the member, their numbering and the distance between supports/adjoining members
Turns on/off the presentation of supports/adjoining members located in the bottom flange of the member, their numbering and the distance between supports/adjoining members
- The dialog contains four tabs: Stiffeners, Forces, Supports/Members, Internal forces
- The dialog includes the following fields: Check and Loads.
