Import a fabrication job (.MAJ) from an Autodesk Fabrication product (CADmep, ESTmep, or CAMduct) into a
Revit model when you want to continue modelling in
Revit. Synchronizing a fabrication job with an existing
Revit model is not supported. The fabrication job must be imported into a
Revit model that does not contain any fabrication parts. (The model can contain generic duct, pipe, architectural, or structural steel elements.) Only fabrication parts that are supported in
  Revit can be imported.
- In
Revit, create a new model or open a model that does not contain any fabrication parts. Use the Fabrication Settings tool to select the same configuration that was used to create the model the fabrication job is based on. See
	 Specify Fabrication Settings.

- Click Insert tab
Import panel
Import MEP Fabrication Job.

- Select an option for Associate Hangers and click OK.

	 - No: Imported parts with hangers will not maintain their association in
		  Revit.

- Fabrication Parts Only: Imported parts with hangers will maintain their association in
		  Revit.

- Fabrication Part + Structure: Imported parts with hangers and a structure above will maintain their association in
		  Revit.

- Navigate to and select a .MAJ file and click Open.

In the MEP Fabrication Open Job - Succeeded dialog, you can expand the details to view warnings or which fabrication services were loaded.

- Click OK to continue.
