Specify options to import and export elements between Advance Steel and Revit.
To open the Settings dialog:
In the Add-Ins tab
Advance Steel Extension panel, click
(Settings).
The dialog has the following options:

| Export based on view settings | Exports objects using the Revit view settings. |
| Export grids | Transfers grid elements. |
| Ignore beam cutbacks and extensions on export | If selected, the cutbacks for beams without a fabrication shape, are not exported inside the SMLX file as a shortening feature. When importing the SMLX file inside Advance Steel, shortening features will not be created at the end of the beams. |
| Disable join for beams on import | Disables the automatic Revit joint for steel beams during import. |

Linked Revit libraries panel - specifies the Revit content that can be used by the mapping transfer system. By default, the Revit content is not linked to the mapping system - a warning is displayed on the right-bottom corner ot the Settings dialog. When content is added to the mapping system, the index file is updated by using the OK button. |
