When you link topography to the
Revit model, the topography is placed in the
Revit LT model using automatic positioning.

- If they use the same coordinate system, the World Coordinate System (WCS) origin of the linked topography is aligned to the
Revit model using real-world coordinates specified for the survey point or the project base point. See
Specify Coordinates Before Linking Site Data.

- If they use different coordinate systems or if topography coordinates are not defined, the topography is positioned center to center with the model. Move the topography to the desired location, and pin it in place.

If the
Revit model uses different coordinates from the topography, a dialog asks whether you want to do the following:

- Align: Use coordinates from the topography to define the geolocation of the
		  Revit model.

You can then check to confirm the coordinates of the
project base point and the survey point. You can also click Manage tab
Project Location panel
(Location) to see the newly assigned latitude and longitude for the model.

- Position center to center: Position the topography center to center with the model.

You must then move the topography to the desired location, and pin it in place.
