Add Active Directory domain users from the Vault Client on your workstation. You need the Vault Client installed and administrator permissions on the Vault server. Windows Authentication must be enabled. This feature is available in Autodesk Vault Professional.
Open Vault administration from the Vault Client.
In the Vault Client, click Tools > Administration.
The Administration dialog box opens.
Open user and group management.
Select the Security tab and click Manage Access.
The User and Group Management dialog box opens.
Start the domain user import.
Click Actions > Import Domain User.
The Select Users dialog box opens.
Specify the Active Directory domain.
In the Select Users dialog box, click Locations.
In the Locations dialog box, select the domain that contains the accounts to import and click OK.
Select the domain users to import.
In the Select Users dialog box, enter the user names to add. You can also click Advanced to search for users.
Complete the import.
Click OK in the Select Users dialog box.
The domain user accounts are added to the user list. Vault uses the username and email address from Active Directory. The domain name appears before the username.
