Purge Folders

Select a project or folder and purge all its content files.

Similar to the process of purging file/item versions, you can also purge folder contents from a vault from the main client view.

Note: You must have the assigned roles of Administrator or Project Administrator with PurgeProject permission to perform a purge at the folder level.

To purge a folder:

Select a folder > select Purge from the Edit menu.

Or

Right-click a folder, and then select Purge.

The folder contents are purged utilizing the server "Selective purge" task.

Note: Only files controlled by lifecycle definition are purged using the server task.
