Delete a Site
A site or AVFS that is no longer needed can be deleted. A site can be deleted using the server console from any site.
Note: This feature is available in Autodesk Vault Professional.
Delete a Site
- In the navigation pane, select Sites.
- Right-click a site in the list and then select Delete Site.
- If any vaults on the selected site contain data that has not been replicated to other sites, you are prompted to verify deletion of the site. Click Yes to delete the site without replicating the data or click No to cancel the site deletion so that the data can be replicated first.
- If all of the data at the selected site has been replicated to other sites, you are prompted to verify the deletion of the site. Click Yes.
Note: To remove a site and prevent it from automatically being included, change the vault administration password.
Delete an AVFS
- Expand the File Stores node.
- Right click the AVFS site in the list and then select Delete Site.
Note: Ensure that all files have been successfully replicated to the ADMS Server. Files stored on the remote AVFS site will remain in the file store location. However, once the site is removed, replication will cease. Any files that were not replicated from the AVFS site to the ADMS Server may be permanently lost.
