Set up sync rules to control which Vault Items sync to Fusion Manage. You choose what data the connector sends and which Items are eligible. The Vault Connector must be enabled. Property mappings must also be configured first.
Open the Vault Connector configuration dialog.
Navigate to Tools > Administration > Vault Settings, then select the Collaborate tab and click Configure in the Vault Connector Management section.
Click the Sync Rules tab.
In the Vault Connector Mappings dialog, click the Sync Rules tab.
Set the item sync behaviour.
In the Sync Behaviour section, select one of the following options under Item Sync Behaviour:
Select Item & BOM (Default) to sync Items, their BOMs, and configured attachments.
Select Item Properties and Attachments Only to sync only Item properties and attachments without the BOM.
This setting applies to all Sync to Fusion Manage actions.
(Optional) Add a criteria rule.
In the Criteria Rules section:
From the Vault Property dropdown, select the Item property to evaluate.
From the Condition dropdown, select the comparison operator.
From the Value dropdown, select or enter the target value.
Click Add.
The rule displays in the criteria rules table with the Vault Property and Value columns.
(Optional) Add more criteria rules.
Repeat the previous step to add more rules. The connector evaluates multiple rules using AND logic, so an Item must match every rule to sync. Each criteria rule must be unique. If you enter a duplicate, the connector displays an error.
(Optional) Replace a criteria rule.
(Optional) Remove a criteria rule.
(Optional) Reset sync rules to defaults.
Click Reset to clear all criteria rules and restore the sync behaviour to Item & BOM.
Save the sync rules configuration.
Click Apply to save your settings.
The Vault Connector now applies sync rules when you sync Items to Fusion Manage. Only Items that match all criteria rules are eligible.
