Check the Connection to the Vault Server (add-ins-only)

If you have specified separate servers for your content center and vault files, you can check the status of a server connection with the Connection Status command.

Add-ins with the Vault Ribbon Tab

Display server information of the selected server by choosing Connection Status from the Access drop-down menu on the Vault ribbon. Click the drop-down menu on the Autodesk Vault Server Status dialog to toggle between available servers and then click the Check connection link.

Note: Revit Vault Add-in users can view their connection status by hovering the mouse over the Log In or Log Out button on the Revit Vault ribbon.
  1. Select Connection Status from the Access drop-down menu on the Autodesk Vault ribbon.
  2. Select a server from the Server Name drop-down menu on the Autodesk Vault Server Status dialog.
  3. Click the Check connection link.
