Configure Trash Bin settings

Configure Trash Bin settings to enable the feature and set up automatic emptying schedules. Only administrators can configure these settings.

Enable the Trash Bin

1. Go to the Behaviors tab in the Vault Settings dialog:

   • Click Tools > Administration > Vault Settings
   • In the Vault Settings dialog, select the Behaviors tab

2. In the Trash Bin section, check the Enable Trash Bin checkbox

3. Click the Configure button to enable the automatic emptying of the trash bin

Review configuration settings

After configuring the Trash Bin:

1. Verify that the Trash Bin is enabled and functioning correctly
2. Test the automatic emptying schedule to ensure it works as expected
3. Communicate the new settings to all users
4. Document the configuration for future reference
