Manually synchronize one or more Vault Items to Fusion Manage at any time. This on-demand synchronization allows you to control when Items are pushed to Fusion Manage.
On-demand synchronization provides immediate control over when Items are sent to Fusion Manage. This method is useful when you want to share specific Items without waiting for a lifecycle state change. Before syncing Items, ensure that the Vault Connector is enabled in ADMS Console and property mappings are configured.
Navigate to the Item Master view in Vault:
Select the Item Master view in the Vault client.
The Item Master displays all Items in the Vault.
Select the Items to synchronize:
Select one or more Items that you want to sync to Fusion Manage
Ensure that none of the selected Items are in edit mode
The sync action is disabled if any selected Item is in edit mode.
Initiate the synchronization:
Right-click the selected Items
Select Sync to Fusion Manage from the context menu
Alternatively, you can select Actions > Sync to Fusion Manage from the menu bar.
Monitor the synchronization progress:
A toast notification displays after the sync attempt, confirming whether it was successful or unsuccessful.
The sync job processes in the background. For large Items with many attachments, synchronization may take several minutes.
Verify the synchronization status:
Check the Vault Item properties to confirm the sync status:
Fusion Manage Link State: Should show Up to Date icon
Fusion Manage Sync Status: Should show Successful
Fusion Manage Synced Date: Should show the current date and time
If the sync fails, the Fusion Manage Sync Status shows Error, and details are available in the ADMS Console logs.
After successful synchronization, the Item is available in Fusion Manage with all configured properties, BOMs, and attachments. You can use the Open in Fusion Manage command to view the Item directly in Fusion Manage.
