Repair an Installation
If necessary, you can repair the installation of the Vault server.
- Open the Windows Start Menu
- In the Autodek Data Management section, click the Autodesk Server Repair Tool option
Repair log files are written in the %TEMP% directory.
- Repair Autodesk Vault 202X (server) English Language Pack.log
- Repair Autodesk Vault Professional 202X (Server).log
If the repair doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall the Vault server software. Refer to the instructions in the support article Repairing, Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Vault server software. Please note that you cannot repair the Vault Client.
Note: Autodesk strongly recommends backing up all databases and necessary files before making any changes to the installation of the Vault server.
