Custom Actions dialogs

There are two implementations of the Custom Actions dialog:

• The User Custom Actions dialog is used to create and edit custom actions that apply only to the current user.

  This dialog is displayed by selecting File | Database settings | User custom actions.

• The Shared Custom Actions dialog is used to create and edit custom actions that apply to all users.

  This dialog is displayed by selecting File | Database settings | Shared custom actions.

  Note: Shared custom actions can be edited only by users with permission to change database-wide settings. If a user does not have appropriate permissions, the OK button on the dialog will be disabled.

Option	Description
Custom action	Drop-down list of 10 custom actions. The numbers in parentheses do not change when the action title (see below) is changed.
Action Settings	Action Title The action title will be displayed in the Custom action drop-down, in the actions menu and in the tooltips for the Shared Actions toolbar and the User Actions toolbar. Action Description The action description will be displayed in the status bar when hovering over the action menu items or toolbar buttons. Select an object to apply for this action Used to select a database tree object to be applied to the GeoPlan when the custom action is selected. Note: Either a tree object or an external Ruby script file may be selected. It is not possible to select both. or select a Ruby script to be run Used to browse for an external Ruby script file to be run when the custom action is selected.
