Reservoir Group Data Fields

Reservoir Group data fields can be edited on the Reservoir Group Grid View in the Object Groups Grid or on the Reservoir Group Property Sheet.

The following table describes all the data needed to define a Reservoir Group.

Further information, including units details, about all the Network Object fields stored in the database can be found in the data fields topics listed in the Network Data Fields topic.

Fields that are common to the majority of objects can be found in the Common Data Fields topic.

The Property Page column shows which page of the property sheet displays the data. The pages are:
  1. Object Group Definition Page

  2. User Page - see Common Data Fields topic for details of user fields
  3. Hyperlinks Page - see Common Data Fields topic for details of hyperlinks fields

  4. Notes Page - see Common Data Fields topic for details of notes fields

The Grid column tells you if the data item is available for editing in the grid view.

Note: Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the table to view its entire content.

Multicomponent Reservoir

Check this option to treat the reservoir group as if all its component reservoirs are part of a multiple compartment reservoir.

The heads of all multi-component reservoirs will be set simultaneously to the same value except when one or more is isolated by pipe or valve closures.

Note: A pumping station or valve used to set level in a component reservoir is treated as targeting the whole group, even if that compartment reservoir becomes isolated.

Node ID

Grid of Reservoir objects included in the Object Group.

The list will automatically be populated with all Reservoir nodes within the Object Group polygon, when the polygon is first created. The list can subsequently be edited manually.

Object Group Results

Results fields are displayed on the grid when opened while viewing a replay of a simulation, and on a special results page placed at the front of Property Sheets displayed while viewing a simulation replay.

For details of results fields for object groups, see the Object Group Results Data Fields topic.
