To Specify the Pressure Network Catalog

Prior to creating a new parts list, use the Set Pressure Network Catalogue dialog box to select the catalogue that will serve as the source for components used in the parts list. Each pressure network catalogue is comprised of a single SQLite database.

The default pressure network catalogues contain a wide variety of pressure network parts. Parts in a catalogue can include pipes, fittings (such as bends and tees), and ancillaries (such as valves).

  1. Click Home tab Create Design panel Set Pressure Network Catalogue Find.
  2. In the Set Pressure Network Catalogue dialog box, specify the Catalogue Folder and Catalogue Database File and click OK.
Note: If needed, you will be able to specify additional databases when setting up the pressure network parts list.
  3. Set up a pressure network parts list.
Note: A Catalogue Editor is available for editing the metadata on the parts. The program is Autodesk.Aec.Content.CatalogEditor.exe and can be found in C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2027\C3D. This program allows you to edit the metadata on pressure network parts, but not create them.
Note: Users can now store the Pressure Pipe Catalogue in Autodesk Forma and configure the catalogue path to reference a Forma location.
