This topic contains important information for Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture 2027.

GSF Layer Viewport Color Render

• In paper space, viewport-specific layer colors may not be applied to AutoCAD Architecture and MEP objects when GSF visual styles are in use. If this occurs, run the OBJRELUPDATEALL command or change the view within the viewport.

Content Packs

• For stand-alone installation, all content packs are installed by default. The installer does not have the option to choose the content packs for installation. There is also no option to remove the installed content packs from the Add/Remove Programs feature. Shortcuts for all content pack profiles are created in the Windows Start Menu by default.

Import from Inventor

• Removed support for ADSK files. As a result, IMPORTBUILDINGCOMPONENT command has been removed.

Side by Side Installation with Older Versions of AutoCAD Architecture

• Uninstallation of older versions of AutoCAD Architecture (2023 or 2024) after AutoCAD Architecture 2027 is installed might cause an issue with the Content Browser. If you don't want to keep the older versions in the same machine, uninstall them first before installing AutoCAD Architecture 2027.
