Specifies whether the cross-platform 3D graphics system is turned on or off.

The cross-platform 3D graphics system leverages modern GPUs and multi-core CPUs to offer a smooth navigation experience for much larger drawings than previous releases.

In some cases, the FASTSHADEDMODE system variable may be disabled automatically during AutoCAD start-up due to an incompatible graphics card or 3D display driver.

FASTSHADEDMODE affects the following visual styles:

• Conceptual
• Hidden
• Realistic
• Shaded
• Shaded with Edges
• Wireframe

Note: The Realistic visual style is affected only on Windows.
