AutoCAD Electrical 2027 Known Issues

This topic contains important information for Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2027.

Autodesk® Vault Basic 2027 (Client)

Sign in with your Autodesk ID and download the Autodesk Vault Basic (Server and Client) from https://www.autodesk.com/account.

Catalog Database Schema

It is recommended that you do not make any changes to the default catalog database schema such as modifying the column name or adding a column between existing columns. Refer to the AutoCAD Electrical Help for more information about Catalog Database Schema.

Checkout Command

CHECKOUT command is not available in AutoCAD Electrical.

ECLASS Data Utility Import for Terminals

Currently Terminal blocks import through ECLASS Data Utility Import is not supported.

Language Packs

The customization that are configured for the main product will not be applied to the language packs during the installation.
AutoCAD Electrical does not support running a specific language product on a different language operating system. For example, running a Simplified Chinese AutoCAD Electrical on an English operating system may not function properly, and is not a supported configuration. In some cases, this might work when the languages are similar. AutoCAD Electrical - English works well on any language operating system.
Opening same/different project in two languages launched side by side may not function properly.
You can download the Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical language packs from the Autodesk Accounts portal (https://manage.autodesk.com/) or install the language packs along with the main product using custom install.
