-FIND (Command)

Searches for the text that you specify in the entire drawing, the current space or layout, or selected objects.

Note: Use the FINDINCLUDE and FINDMATCH commands to control the types of objects that are searched and how text strings are compared.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

What To Find

Specifies the text string to find. Enter a text string, including any wildcard characters.

Find Where

Specifies where to search for the entered text string.

• Entire drawing - Searches all objects in model space and all layouts.
• Current space or layout - Searches only objects in the current space or layout.
• Selected objects - Prompts you to select the objects to search.
