Pipe/Pressure Pipe Catalog in Forma Data Management
Users can now work with pipe and pipe pressure catalogs using both Cloud and Local workflows:
- Store catalogs in a Forma Data Management project ensuring that everyone who needs access to the catalog has the appropriate permissions.
- All changes made to the catalog will automatically sync for all designers who have set the path to this Forma Data Management older or project.
- Users can also set the path from another projects for pipe/pressure catalog, as long as they have the appropriate permissions for that project.
Improved Spiral Tessellation
- Civil 3D now uses a single, improved spiral tessellation method by default. The AECCENHANCEDSPIRALSAMPLING system variable (implemented in Civil 3D 2026.2) has been removed. The enhanced tessellation method is now the only available option.
Connected Support Files Access
- Connected Support Files are now available in Forma Data Management and ACC Library.
Bridges
- You can now display full bridge hierarchy in the prospector. In previous versions of Civil 3D, imported bridges from InfraWorks appeared as a single object in the prospector, preventing a clear view of the bridge components used. By importing a bridge created in InfraWorks, the latter will be expandable from the prospector menu. All bridge components will be displayed.
MrSID support
- Beginning with Civil 3D 2027, MrSID is no longer supported.
