Backburner has been updated to version 2027.1.0.58.
backburnerConfigDeployment can be configured using /opt/Autodesk/backburner/backburnerConfig and a JSON configuration file with the following settings:
Refer to the Using the JSON Configuration section in the Backburner Configuration chapter for more details.
The macOS configuration has been updated to be more aligned with the Rocky Linux configuration.
The Backburner standalone package installation configures a single Backburner server by default. In previous releases, both Backburner Server 0 and Server 1 were started automatically.
Administrators who require multiple Backburner servers can edit the /opt/Autodesk/backburner/cfg/backburner.server.ids file to enable additional servers, then restart the Backburner Server service using the Service Monitor application.
When installing a Flame Family application, the following servers will be started:
The /opt/Autodesk/backburner/backburner_server start/stop/restart script dynamically enables, disables, starts, and stops Backburner servers based on the configuration defined in the /opt/Autodesk/backburner/cfg/backburner.server.ids file. As a result, administrators only need to edit this file to increase or decrease the number of Backburner servers. This is the same script used by the Service Monitor application. See Configure Backburner Manager & Servers - Manual Configuration for more details.
During a new installation of the application, the permissions for the /opt/Autodesk/backburner/Network-1 folder were not the same as those for the /opt/Autodesk/backburner/Network folder.
Backburner servers can be disabled on boot in Service Monitor or from the command line.
Backburner servers can be restarted through Backburner Monitor.
Multiple fixes have been implemented to prevent the restart of jobs that can be resumed. Backburner Monitor displays more information about resumable status in the job details panel. See the Backburner Monitor section on resumable jobs for more details.
Command-line jobs can be flagged as non-resumable, so jobs with multiple tasks that depend on a previous task are re-executed after suspension.
Command-line jobs correctly handle mixed single (') and double (\") quotes in arguments.
