Colour Picker

Twelve custom colours can be stored in the User palette. These colours can then be selected anywhere a colour can be set, including in the Colour Source node.

Add a Colour

To add a colour to the User palette:

  1. Open the Colour Picker.
  2. Set the desired colour by either sampling an image or using the colour sliders.
  3. Select the User tab.
  4. Click Add.

The colour is added to the next free slot. If all slots are already filled, the new colour is added to the first slot and all colours ripple down the chain, meaning that the colour that was in the twelfth slot is lost.

Replacing a Colour

  1. Open the Colour Picker.

  2. Set the desired colour by either sampling an image or using the colour sliders.

  3. Select the User tab.

  4. Enable Edit.

  5. Select the colour to replace.

The selected colour is indicated using a yellow or red outline, depending on the current colour.

  6. Click Replace.

Clearing a Colour

To remove a colour from the User palette:

  1. Open the Colour Picker.

  3. Enable Edit.
