Machine Learning Upscale

The Machine Learning Upscale models available in versions up to 2027 have been replaced with new models. These new models require less memory on Rocky Linux, making it possible to run them on clips of higher resolution, and provide better results on macOS.

Important: On Rocky Linux, using the GPU option, the Machine Learning Upscale Double model works only on source clips with a resolution of 3840x2176, whereas the Triple and Quadruple models work only on clips with a resolution of 1920x1080 or less.

Filtering

The filters used to downscale an image before it is sent to a machine learning isolation model and to upscale the resulting image for display in the application have been changed.
