Autodesk InfoWorks ICM Viewer

This Autodesk product is designed to let you view model data and analyse existing results in InfoWorks ICM. You do not need an Autodesk licence to use it, but you will need an Autodesk account.

You can use the Viewer to access model groups and have a read-only view of InfoWorks and SWMM networks. Other existing database items, such as events, are also read-only.

For on-premise and transportable databases, you can add a limited number of Viewer items, such as selection lists and stored queries. For cloud databases, the Viewer is read-only and you cannot create new items.

As the Viewer has limited functionality you cannot, for example, run or re-run 1D or 2D simulations or mesh or re-mesh 2D zones. You will need a licensed version of InfoWorks ICM in order to perform such operations.

You can also use the Viewer to open and work with the following types of databases, subject to the Viewer restrictions described above:

• On-premise
• Transportable
• Cloud

Note: For cloud databases the software will check that you are assigned to use cloud facilities with InfoWorks ICM. If you have not been assigned, a suitable message is displayed. See Getting started with the cloud for further information about accessing cloud facilities.

The Autodesk InfoWorks ICM Viewer is automatically installed when you install InfoWorks ICM Ultimate, which can be downloaded here.

When you start the Viewer for the first time, you will be asked to sign in to your Autodesk account or to create a new account if you don't already have one. See Sign in and out of Autodesk for details.
