This page describes the new feature improvements for InfoDrainage™ version 2027.1.
Please note that this version also includes various bug fixes that are described in detail in the Release Notes.
InfoDrainage is only available through Autodesk channels - please see the Installation Guide for more details on which version you are accessing.
InfoDrainage 2027.1 introduces support for variable depth open channels, allowing you to define different cross sections at the upstream and downstream ends of a channel. This enhancement enables more realistic representation of channels that vary in shape or dimensions along their length, improving design flexibility and supporting more accurate hydraulic modelling.
Autodesk Assistant is now available in InfoDrainage, providing in-product guidance and support to help you work more efficiently. You can ask questions about features, workflows, and design tasks directly within the application, reducing the need to search through documentation and helping resolve issues faster.
InfoDrainage 2027.1 introduces improvements to the SCS (TR-20) methodology, providing closer alignment with NRCS TR-20 and TR-55 guidance. Updated defaults, terminology, and rainfall distribution precision help deliver more consistent and defensible hydrologic results, increasing confidence in regulatory submissions and supporting established industry workflows.
