Variables Codeblocks Reference

What's New: 2027

Variable codeblocks are used to create a placeholder for a value, allowing that value to be manipulated within the codeblock logic. As such, these variables live and work only in that particular rule.

Variables can hold any item, including a number, text, boolean, date, object, or a list.

Variables in the Codeblock editor are global within the rule. Once defined, a variable can be referenced by any Codeblock in the rule.

Note: No default Variable codeblocks are included and the Variables Toolbox is empty when first accessed. Click 'Create Variable...' to create Variable codeblocks.
