Explanation

Simulation of Thermocouple Controlled Cooling is not supported on 3D tetrahedral cooling channel elements. Simulation of Thermocouple controlled cooling is only supported on beam Channel elements.

Resolution

• Make sure the cooling channels on which the thermocouple controlled cooling boundary conditions are set are modeled using beam elements.
• Replace the (3D) tetrahedral cooling channel elements with one-dimensional beam Channel elements before assigning the Thermocouple Controlled inlet boundary condition to a beam Channel element.
