A great deal of effort goes into improving the user interface and workflow for each release. Based on customer feedback, technology changes, software security vulnerabilities, and customer usage patterns, the following capabilities have been removed from this release.
The Process Optimization analysis has been discontinued and is no longer supported as of the Moldflow 2027 release.
A Design of Experiments (DOE) optimization analysis can be used to optimize process conditions with a broader range of quality criteria.
You can still open an old study file that includes a Process Optimization analysis and view the model settings and results. However, if you attempt to run a new analysis, the program will terminate with an error. Please contact Support for assistance with alternative analysis methods.
The Shrink analysis has been discontinued and is no longer supported as of the Moldflow 2027 release.
It is recommended to use a Warp analysis rather than a Shrink analysis to predict both shrinkage and warpage of a molded part. The Warp analysis includes consideration of the structural effect of the part in resisting shrinkage in some areas. The Shrink analysis does not consider this structural effect.

At maximum, two open and close cycles are possible for each valve gate controller in a single Midplane or Dual Domain Flow analysis. In previous versions of Moldflow Insight, the possible number of open and close cycles of each controller was unlimited.
Moldflow products are no longer supported on Windows 10 and we no longer will investigate or resolve Window 10 specific problems (Autodesk Windows 10 policy). To allow companies to transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11, Moldflow 2027 products can still be installed on Windows 10.
