This release fixes bugs and incorporates enhancements to the way a model is meshed that improve the mesh quality and speed.
For 3D part meshes, the option to add extra mesh refinement near gates has been enhanced and moved to the 3D meshing options dialog. This option is on by default for 3D meshes and no longer applies during Dual Domain meshing. In locations where beam elements connect to the tetrahedral part mesh, this option will create a finer and more regular element structure based on beam diameter. Similar refinement is also applied to direct gated regions based on the local part mesh size. The extra gate refinement refines both the surface mesh and internal mesh in the gate region.
