User interface and workflow enhancements 2027

A great deal of effort goes into improving the user interface and workflow for each release, based on feedback from you, our customers.

Enhanced Synergy command line Dialog

The Synergy command line dialog has been redesigned to provide a more powerful and flexible scripting environment.

• Real-time Output Display

  • View command line outputs directly within the dialog with the new Log API in the Synergy class, providing immediate feedback on your script execution.

• Automated Script Logging

  • All script execution outputs with the new Log API are saved to a dedicated "script logs" folder within your Synergy documents directory.

• Streamlined History Navigation

  • Navigate through your command history with Up and Down Arrow keys, replacing the previous dialog-based selection method.

• Flexible Docking System

  • Dock to left, right, or bottom panels of Synergy
  • Pull out dialogs to create floating windows

• Enhanced File Name Support

  • Improved handling of file names containing spaces using standard double-quote syntax:
  • For example: "file name.py"

Graphics Engine Upgrade

The graphics engine has been modernized to deliver a faster and more responsive visualization experience. This upgrade improves rendering performance and interaction smoothness, particularly when working with large or complex studies. Common graphics operations such as rotating, zooming, panning, and displaying result plots are now more fluid and responsive.
