What's New in V2027

Learn about new features in this release of Inventor Nastran.

Enhanced Result Visualization & Control

Show/Hide Selected Parts: You can now easily show or hide specific parts while viewing results in post-processing. Just open the Result Plot dialog, switch to the Part View option, select multiple parts, and choose to display or hide them for more tailored result visualization.
Dynamic Legend Updates: The legend colors and values now automatically update based on which bodies are displayed or hidden in the result view, giving you real-time feedback on min-max values and contour colors.
Entity Counts for Clarity: All selected entity sections now display entity counts, so you always know exactly how many items you've selected.

Default Material Library: Set your preferred material library as the default from the Default Settings section. Once set, materials will be loaded from your chosen file by default in the material selection dialog.
Suppress/Un-suppress Mesh Controls: You now have the flexibility to suppress or un-suppress specific mesh controls, giving you more control over your mesh setup.

Consistent Units: All results now display their respective units, ensuring uniformity and clarity across your analyses.
Safety Factor in Reports: Safety Factor results are now automatically included in your reports, making it easier to communicate critical safety information.

Bad Contact Warnings: Inventor Nastran now warns you about bad contacts in your model when generating the Nastran file. You can then choose to address these issues or proceed as is, putting you in control of your model’s integrity.

Model Tree State Memory: The Model Tree now remembers your actions and retains the collapsed or expanded state, so you can pick up right where you left off.
